Land and Brush Clearing

Hanson Land Works specializes in land clearing operations. We can do total clearing projects such as clearing for a building site, fence line clearing, or expanding the maintainable area of a yard. However, if your project is more geared toward aesthetics or forest management, we can take a much more selective approach, clearing out only targeted species or certain trees.

Our primary means of land clearing uses a forestry mulcher. This heavy skid steer attachment not only cuts down brush and trees, but then mulches everything into smaller pieces, recycling it back into the soil. It will also grind an inch or two below the soil surface to remove small stumps and further mix the mulched material with soil.

Trees that are too large to be mulched can be felled and limbed. The larger log sections are then stacked and saved for firewood or for lumber, while the branches and tops can be mulched.
